This is a picture of our class match. It was on December
seventeenth. We played “kick-base” and “port ball”.
Kick-base is like baseball, but we don’t use bats. We kick a ball.
Portball is like basketball, but we don’t use basketball-boards and
basketball-rings. The catcher from each team stands on the
tobibako (port). We throw a basketball to him.
Portball was not easy for us. Our portball team lost to 1C, 1E, and 1F. But we cheerfully played the games. Our kick-base team
practiced hard, so we almost won the Championship. We enjoyed
it very much.
